Zeno's Boardwalk Sweet Shop — New Smyrna Beach

Zeno's has been making taffy in Volusia County since 1948, and our New Smyrna Beach shop sits right in the middle of Flagler Avenue — the walkable stretch of shops and restaurants that runs down to the beach ramp. Inside you'll find walls of World's Most Famous Taffy in more than 100 flavors, a case of homemade ice cream scooped into waffle cones we press in the shop, and a coffee bar pouring hot coffee, espresso drinks and iced coffee — plus fudge, brittle, caramel corn, chocolate and cotton candy.

Homemade ice cream in New Smyrna Beach
Our New Smyrna Beach shop scoops homemade hard ice cream in a cup, a fresh waffle cone, or a chocolate-dipped waffle cone pressed behind the counter. Toppings are available, and we keep a no-sugar-added flavor in the case.

Flavors rotate, so the case changes through the season. Toppings including rainbow and chocolate sprinkles, mini M&M's, Reese's Pieces, snow caps, hot fudge and chocolate sauce are available for a small extra charge.
Coffee on Flagler Avenue
We pour coffee too — hot coffee, espresso drinks and iced coffee — so the Flagler Avenue morning walk and the after-dinner stroll both work out. Grab a cup on the way to the beach, or pair an iced coffee with a scoop of Italian Coffee ice cream on the way back.

Every piece of Zeno's saltwater taffy is made at our own factory in South Daytona and trucked down to Flagler Avenue, so what you scoop into your bag was made about 25 minutes up the road. Bag your own from the wall or grab a pre-made gift box.

Finding us on Flagler Avenue
We're on the north side of Flagler Avenue between the causeway and the beach ramp, in the middle of the shopping district — an easy walk from the public parking lots at either end of the avenue and a few minutes from the sand. Come in barefoot; we don't mind.
Driving in? We're roughly 10 minutes from Edgewater, 20 minutes from Port Orange, and 30 minutes from the Daytona Beach Boardwalk — where you'll find our original shop.

Do you have ice cream at the New Smyrna Beach store?
Yes. The Flagler Avenue shop scoops homemade hard ice cream daily, in cups, fresh waffle cones and chocolate-dipped waffle cones, with about 20 flavors in the case plus a no-sugar-added option.
Do you sell coffee?
Yes. The New Smyrna Beach shop serves hot coffee, espresso drinks and iced coffee alongside the ice cream and candy.
Is the taffy made in the store?
The taffy is made at Zeno's own factory in South Daytona, about 25 minutes north, and delivered to the New Smyrna Beach shop. You can watch the taffy machines run at our Daytona Beach Boardwalk location.
How does buying taffy work?
Bag your own from the flavor wall and pay by weight, or pick up a pre-packed 1 lb. box or assortment. Staff will hand you a bag and a scoop — take as many or as few of each flavor as you like.
Where do I park on Flagler Avenue?
There's free public parking at the beach end of Flagler Avenue and in lots just off the avenue, plus street parking along Flagler. Weekends and holidays fill up fast, so parking a block off the avenue and walking in is usually quicker.
Are you open year-round?
Yes, we're open seven days a week year-round. Hours run later on holiday weekends and during Flagler Avenue events.
